The idea behind our letterbox gift parcels is a simple one: we simply want to spread happiness through thoughtful, handcrafted gifts. They make great presents for friends and family or for a personal pick-me-up.
But the story behind our business - and our letterbox parcels - is a very personal one. Our founder, Danielle, went through a very difficult time a few years ago when her best friend was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer at the same time as her brother was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
This was enough to make anyone seriously reassess where they were and how they planned to move forward. Luckily, Danielle went through a course of CBT many years previously, and the focus on conscious positivity she learned there helped her overcome these personal difficulties.
After things had settled down, Danielle realised she needed to turn this experience into something. The result was Deelux Happiness. Danielle realised the difference a positive attitude could make during difficult times, and so she wanted to be able to share this with others.
